My first post in the gallery  Grin I'm done with them! I learned a lot (in the forum, thanks guys!) and still full of things to try...
I finished with several oils and MIG pigments.

Truly awesome stuff in all regards, Arno !
It's a pleasure to see all the fine details you have added, and I'm still shedding a tear (or two) that this fantastic figure is a one off ...  Cry
Next time you should really consider to get it casted, there are several people here with great knowledge of how to get this done.  Wink
But for now, a bunch of laurels for you !

That is some fine work you've produced. The open suit is just about perfect. The closed one is great too. The sculpting of the figure is choice. Adds some humor.  And Welcome.

Like the Guys say.  Dude: This absolutely Rocks!    So like the expression on your Pilot.   Someone is going to get a thump from him  Wink    Wonderful.     Also really like your restrained use of the decals and the well thought through placement of those that you used, plus your unit insignia and numbers.  Very classy work.  Go shout yourself a beer or three.  If I were closer I would buy them for you myself.   Smiley

Hi ArnoB,

Beautiful work! Have been very much looking forward to these suits and am very glad you had the time and motivation to see them through to completion. The finish is so nicely done, I love the satin sheen coming through the dirt, grime, oil and dust. The multi-hued patina is very pleasing to watch.

Using the 2 suits to show the poses and functionality of the suits between them is most clever. Was your plan to have them as a flexible vignette with the bases being similar? I'm only noticing this because it's the plan for my 2nd Night Stalker now and it looks like you have achieved something like this here, very cool.

Thanks again, enjoyed very much!

Thank you all!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Exactly, that was the original idea!!

Mak_Mike & SMH, It's too late for this one, but I m working on it for the next ones  Smiley

That's right! Later, between them there will be the mechanic, a third cube...

Plaudits well and truly echoed from here too. Kows' Original Classic SAFS design treted with intelligence and restraint in the use of colours, weathering and markings. The poses and figure sculpting are pure class.
