Thanks Daimocow!

I can give you the information Torsten, now that it's public.

Like the G-Pawn release, Irisawa is releasing a "Snow Man SAFS" version of the WAVE SAFS kit. Should be out in June but that could change.

There's a test shot built and painted but will check if the photos can be released yet.

It's the same kit with a few extras (nose!), same great figure head and new decals.

Hope that helps!

A snowman just in time for summer... yeah!

Why not just release a carrot and the decals? Wink

Clever idea  Wink , but if we're really honest, we must admit that the new Wave SAFS is sooo much nicer that we'd had to buy one anyway,so why not put it all in one box to make life easier ... ?  Roll Eyes

Seriously, I welcome this new release wholeheartedly and will buy a couple for sure !

pre-order up at amiami:

http://www.amiami.com/shop/?set=english&vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=FIG-IPN-1192&template=default/product/e_display.html

now as I don't see to many differences or sprue shots, is the only difference the nose?

If I had to guess, I'd say nose and decals.

Is it April 1st?  Cheesy

Is this going to be boxed similarly to the WAVE SAFS's I have ordered previously or will it be like the Q3 with the card and such?

Yup, you're right !
In fact it seems that he painted it with a built model of the new Wave kit in front of him, since even the pilot he painted looks exactly like the one in the kit.
For my taste one of the best illustrations he ever made !

the base model for this is a DWartist/Lin.K "homage", I'm not kidding  Shocked. Yokoyama-san got Drunk Dog to build him the SAFS Snowman and he did the figure. Then painted this. So the suit is still functional and pose-able, and they went with the new hinge too.

Upandel - Irisawa are boxed by WAVE and follow their set up.

heya Poop, not sure, sorry. Irisawa is more like Fatboy Slim in being a one man band. Stuff goes over, doesn't come back but he's got beats!

If anything comes back to the studio I'll grab one to show but not much chance...

Sorry not Link but will this do?  Tongue

Check the MaK BD Manual. Snowman is from a panel showing winter Merc mechanics relaxing and having some fun* with an SAFS before a Nutrocker sneaks up on them and BAM! In a later panel, Snowman still has the eyes and smile but the nose has fallen off.

Hi Guys,
according to this blog:
http://nutzblog.exblog.jp/
it seems that the Snowman should be out on the 22/06/2010.
The post has good images of the box content and of the new mini-sprue with the nose cone and the lower camera dome.

Cheers

Sorry but find it hard to get excited about this one as it isn't much different to the other suit. I think it would of been nice to add some extras to it............maybe a right hand, tools, fuel cans, new full plastic figure. Really want to support Mak and I know buying this will help more new kits to be made but it needs a little more for me to spend my money on, as I already have the one without the nose.

Sorry
