Hey Gans, you have a point there: to be honest, the nose cone and the other part are not super exciting for me either.
To me what makes this kit interesting is mainly the artwork on the box and the difference in the camo card etc. In other words it is more of a collector's interest than a modeller's one.

quick heads up just in case you want one and are holding back - this one is a half volume release, half the number of regular splash releases like the Krote, Gans, regular SAFS and so on.
Really nice contents but man, the plastic is Casper WHITE!!!

I just got mine yesterday, the box art is simply wonderful, other than that its the same old S.A.F.S. plus a Small orange spruce of 2 parts (nose and a canopy vision block)

Thanks Futch! I did receive a booklet, but I was thinking there was going to be a card in addition to the booklet. But as I thought about it I realized the snowman would have only one paint scheme, white.
I have agree with Lin.c the white sprues are great!

Sorry but find it hard to get excited about this one as it isn't much different to the other suit. I think it would of been nice to add some extras to it............maybe a right hand, tools, fuel cans, new full plastic figure. Really want to support Mak and I know buying this will help more new kits to be made but it needs a little more for me to spend my money on, as I already have the one without the nose.

I have to agree, from what I see you get a orange sprue w/the nose and new decals. I also already have the base kit and would have got excited had this been a sep purchase item and not a rehash of a already neat kit. I hate too see it when kits go in this direction, tells me they are not popping anything new right now!!!!!!!!!  |

Even if just for the nose cone, sensor and box art.
And it is super cool that they fashioned it for the fans.

Hey, I did not mean to imply nor did I say it was not worth the money, and yes I am glad they did it f/the FANS as you put it, but for me, I work hard for my hobby funds and I just exspect a bit more bang for the buck!  |

I believe that the SAFS and Snowman are the same price at HLJ. I got one but wouldn't have paid much more for something that could be scratched. Now knowing that it was produced in such small quantities I wish I ordered a second one. |

Just buy and make one of each kit as they come out. Ive already made regular SAFS and now can make a winter camo version. Too easy!
I don't have to worry about inventory or logistics either, just make them as they come out. It really is a sweet little plan.
