Hi,
Before I roll out the graphic updates, I'd like a few volunteers to change their Theme (under your profile) and use the forum for the next few days.
We have enough testers. I have disabled the setting. The Theme will come online in the next couple of days. Thanks
Changing your theme is easy:
1) Click Profile at the top. 2) Click "Look and Layout Preferences" from your "Modify Profile" menu on the left 3) Click "(change)" for your Current Theme. It's the item listed. 4) Click "Maschinen Krieger 1.0" at the bottom of the page.
This option will be available for the next few hours. Send me a PM if you change your Theme and to report any issues. Some of the tiny graphics need to be updated. I'll be doing that tonight.
Thanks Futch

I don't have the option. Did you already delete it? Hard telling with the time-difference and not being sure I put the forums time right.

It should be right where Futch pointed to. The switch to allow members to choose their theme is on.

I like the last one, Mk1. Edit: Just noticed that on this theme new post logo in the thread has the white box with a X and new, might be my pc though.

Aha, now it works. The option wasn't there when I first posted. I like the colours. Though it's a bit too heavy on the contrast I think... I'd suggest you make the "beige" parts of the alternating posts a little lighter. If you get what I mean. Also, perhaps you can make the background-image lighter. But for the rest I like it. It's different from all the other fora.

No problems for now, I will report any (I check this forum many times a day ).I agree with Vargen on the "contrast" thing.

you will get used to the contrast. it's lighter than Rene's site. plus the style is used all over the place. if i change it in one place, the entire site is affected (unless I modify the php template ).

Looks great, no problems yet. The graphic for a 'New post' isn't working for me either, I see an empty box with a cross in it too.

No, the little 'New' tag at the end of a thread title. Just a missing picture icon currently.

Ok am I on glue or what? I am asking about the "previous/next" buttons at the bottom of the threads. Tabbing the next button will link you through to the next thread. Tab enough times and you go through all the posts of that category, and back to where you started from. Has this always been possible?? Or am I just a Dumb A$$, and just figured it out now

I think overall color looks good. Like the Kuster For me the word "NEW" is shown after every thread title with new message. The letters does have the link to the new messages, but it's difficult to recognize it as it is written in same color and font as the title. I guess this is what they mean by no "new" icon.

I'd love to see this new theme but I have no idea where the Theme setting is in the Profile. Some one point me to it please. Here's a screen capture of my profile area, sans theme setting, what am I missing?

I was able to switch the theme yesterday at home, but now I am in work and it is not possible to change the theme. I have the blue one. The theme selection is saved in cookies?
