Well done! Good weathering, especially the splattering on the hoses and rear farings, and I really appreciate how well you've matched the suit pose with the figure inside. A very human gesture, but communicated through the suit. Lots of great, subtle finish work to draw the eye over the figure.
edit: also just checked out your site, and you don't disappoint with the excellent weathering and detailing. Hope to see some tutorials/in-progress pictures on how you accomplish those diorama pieces!

Such lovely work alexandre. Like the pushed-in engine mesh and the splashed mud. That's one very cheerful pilot too! Just had a look at the other dio stuff on your site. Stunning level of detail all-round.

Fool is gonna get his head blasted off sticking it out like that. The groundwork, mud and splats are as good as I've ever seen and the figure looks great. The pose is very natural and not one of those forced "cool" stance poses. But I have two comments. Well, one question and one something to think about. The hand is spotless The NeuPF is clean as I would expect from a single shot weapon, but the end has soot/heat stains? Does anyone know if the real PFs were ever reused or the tubes just discarded? I've seen plenty of images of RPGs in Afghanistan that look all well worn and beat to hell, not just the tubes, but the warheads too. If the darkening is a "modulation" effect, maybe it should start at the base of the warhead. Anyway, something to think about. Gorgeous build and excellent photography.

Excellent Alex!
+ on;
Build and pose. Base coat color and application as well as variation, ID band color, position and again, application. Figure is classy and a lovely focal point. Weathering is great - a little dirty overall but hits hard in some well positioned spots and is an excellent contrasting color and texture. Personally I like a dirty finish on a suit with minimum damage like this. Base - the now classic 6cm cube, what's not to love? Groundwork - simple and stylish, it's your THING!
Suggestion;
The spanking new AT rocket is great, they are one use only. To contrast with and show this off, some more weathering of the manipulator is needed. For the state of the vehicle, you must imagine that it's one "hand" gets used for all kinds of jobs, that's another place you could pick out with the sandy, dry mud/dirt.

Really beautiful work Arno ... I love the understated colour palette of the suit and base. It's very easy to overlook just how well done the base is because on first impression it's quite dab - but there is art in that drabness The NeuPF is clean as I would expect from a single shot weapon, but the end has soot/heat stains? Does anyone know if the real PFs were ever reused or the tubes just discarded? I've seen plenty of images of RPGs in Afghanistan that look all well worn and beat to hell, not just the tubes, but the warheads too. If the darkening is a "modulation" effect, maybe it should start at the base of the warhead. Anyway, something to think about Real Panzerfausts were disposeable (though the pointy Panzerfaust 150 was reusable http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lq9errk3GE1qm4zgs.jpg ... the propellant charge was stored in the launch tube itself (not the warhead) which was made out of thin, low-grade steel and probably wouldn't have survived several launches (read as pipebomb). In RPGs the energy to launch the grenade comes from a rocket which is attached to the warhead - two different launch systems.

These ones aren't real so you can make up your own story on them until someone makes us. I would prefer the idea of them being a cold launch.

Thanks a lot for your positive feedback! I'm quite happy with this one for the overall look first, but also cause it's always for me a challenge to actually finish a model. Now looking at the pics make me think I should have paint another ID strip on the back, to pimp colors a bit. But I'm in Ma.K for only two years and still got a lot to learn and understand. Thanks for your input. Indeed, hand needs a lot of work, I completely forgot to weather this part. I prefer the idea of a reusable launch tube for the neupanzerfaust, and I think I need to work a bit on the launcher with some chips and more dirt at the end, to contrast with the brand new warhead. Considering my next build, I think I have to reach 3 objectives : - Play with colors a bit more, I'm still prisoner of my AFV/military background and need to break through these Feldgrau/olive drab/sand scheme. - Add more decals. I always fear the worst with this step but it appears they play an important role in a successful Ma.k finish. - Finish it in the next month. Thanks again gentlemen.

Humf, I thought I commented on your build. I get the impression that it's new suit with subtle wear from weather- rain and mud. I like the paint method and minimal weathering and wear. I won't say chipping because from your WIP, you stayed away from it. Neupanzerfaust looks good to me. Working with colour is a great objective. Personally, playing with the orange was such fun on my build! I wish I could have seen your build in person .

Very nice build & finish Alex! Enough feedback from the others right now, so (almost) no comments from my side. Although.... a few little mud stains on the front armour plate and legs would be nice. Bye, Marcel.

Wonderful goals Alex and you are screaming along well, I don't think you are solely an AFV prisoner any longer. I learn from your learning too, thanks for that.

I assumed the panzerfausts could be multiple use weapons, afterall, the SDR is importing its troops and weapons from off-world, which would be a logistics nightmare. At least that's the reasoning I'm going to use because all my panzerfausts have used, rusted, dinged up tubes, haha! Other than that, this is a wonderful piece. The figure is gorgeous. He is so expressive that it adds a lot of character to the suit.
