Excellent finished as your 1st model kit !! Only if i try to be picky , are the bushes. It quite looks like paint brushes , i guess it was Maybe some color paint over it then further split out & random trimming would help ?

that's quite nice! I like the lump on his head. Looks like a bit battle damage. I really have to start one of these models. Leaning towards the Hummel.

Like the others have said, your camo is top notch. The desert pink is one of my favorite types from WWII, and it's awesome to see adapted to the Mel. The only thing I see a problem with is the groundwork. It looks like what it is: a collection of rocks and stuff stuck together. I would try to keep in mind the scale, and start small. Groundwork is tough! I spend more time researching groundwork material and techniques than I do actual kit building haha. I always find myself looking around at the ground and trying to capture the look and feel of everything mentally. Great job, though and keep improving.

Thanks robo. I had the same feeling after I finished. It is as you say, just a collection of rocks, haha. I feel like I rushed the dio just to get the model done which in hindsight was a terrible choice. I think I'm gonna try to do something with ruins/ destroyed buildings next and come back to natural surroundings once I'm more adept.

That sounds cool. Since man-made things aren't as randomized as nature it may be easier to establish a plan, but with destroyed things don't reference movies and TV shows. Real life blown up buildings looks quite different.

Mr Chimp, big ups for a really nice build. Cleanly done, nice job on the camo, and the dio doesn't suck Be careful with the ruined buildings thing...that can get complicated real fast. There's nothing wrong with a suit nicely posed on a polished wooden base, btw. N
